Wet wet wet summer and wombats effected

With such a wet summer and even winter last year, Willow and Gidget picked up liver fluke, we think from grass we picked. Last winter.  Liver fluke needs very wet area's and thats where we normally avoid, but with almost constant rain its obviously spread. Both started weight loss, and. strip with Willow to Dr Howard Ralph. General annersetic required to take bloods and do full health check. Her poo showed Liver fluke and bacteria.  Meds for both put onto extra chopped up sweet potato got it sorted. A friend Roz recommended a new enclosure (we will burn the grass in their old one once fire season over to kill off problems)

Christmas they have been moved to the nursery wombatorium we call 'front of house" its not quite as big but well above recommended guidelines, burrow is dry as its been extended under the house and theres plenty of grass.

There both looking great and I hear them under my feet in the office.
